Are we still doing this? Are we still pretending like he's just stupid, or like shouting facts makes any difference? You ARE arguing with a wall.

San Francisco I regret to inform you that I am back (Peebee did not successfully sneak in via my suitcase, despite his best efforts)

The folks on Ring neighborhood alerts are absolutely unmoored from reality

I can't unsee it, and now you can't either.

Can't wait to hear from the White House in a few days about all of this toddler's "gang tattoos"

Seth Rogen deserves all the snaps for saying this directly to a room with Zuckerberg, Bezos, and Altman in it. Damn.

I had to check four times to make sure this was actually his account. Where do we mail Bill his black kerchief and hat?

Yeah yeah, everyone keeps laughing at us putting a tariff on uninhabited islands like the Heard and McDonald islands... but nobody is talking about how those same uninhabited islands were apparently tariffing us 10% first???!?? Those slimy penguins
April 3, 2025 at 3:11 AM
What do we import from the uninhabited Heard and McDonald islands?
April 2, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Y'know what I wish I had? 10 different copies of the same old golf pc game and 1 copy of the third Monkey Island game. If only such a collection were available...

This is a famous story and it's literally from Musk's biography, there's no excuse for journalists to not be talking about it when they talk about Twitter/X's problems right now

Imagine using the words "imperialism and cultural hegemony" to imply that France was a victim of those things. Criticism is dead

We should not desire to punish red states, but how can we help people in red states from a constant state of weak, minority opposition in the federal government? Red states are currently actively punishing blue states, with glee, and we are at serious risk of losing what little autonomy we have.

We can't win like this. I know it feels good, but like, Trump is dropping loaded weapons on the ground and turning his back on them, and we're so obsessed with laughing at how dumb the weapon is that we don't bother picking it up. You don't have to be the weapon's friend. Just pick up the thing.

And also:
The EPA
The FEC
The Dept. of the Interior
The DOJ

All direct conflicts of interest with Musk, all had their agencies gutted, specifically their Inspectors General were basically all fired
February 28, 2025 at 3:23 AM
Next: The FAA
February 28, 2025 at 3:20 AM
Then: The NLRB
February 28, 2025 at 3:20 AM
Then: The CFPB
February 28, 2025 at 3:19 AM
Not only has Musk not recused himself from conflicts of interest as he and Trump swore they would do, he has basically done NOTHING EXCEPT engage in conflicts of interest as Grand High Poobah of DOGE or whatever he's calling himself. Day one: USAID.
