This is so much fun!!! I hope the originator doesn't feel bad, Frieren Looking Up is so delightful because of all the different ways artists try to "solve" a drawing like this. Some really accomplished artists struggled here! It's nice to remember some things are just hard to draw no matter what.

When you realize that good writing is doing anything you can to avoid saying the obvious, it helps you fight through a lot of first drafts.
I like to figure out what it is I want to say first, then do whatever I can to avoid using that specific combination of words in the final draft.

Stories whose conflicts can be resolved by "just having everyone sit down and have a conversation" are frustrating for the specific reason that they've established that the characters are capable of that kind of communication.
