As relaxed as a baby can be

Making progress on my youngests cardigan, although Oscar seems to thinks it's his. But the rule is that what Oscar wants, Oscar gets.

Little shite knows he's been caught.

Also, my oldest daughter is 29 this week. Wtf, where the hell did all the years go? And does that make me officially old to say that?

Gdi *licking

This is the glowy eyed bastard that I love above all things

I have one cat asleep on me, one staring at me in the dark with glowing eyes and cat living my foot that's hanging off the bed. I just want to sleep the night through.

I too am am enabler.

I finished my upstairs project just recently and didn't want to cast on another until I'd finished this jumper for my kid. Pic included.

I may have to carry on something new, regardless.

Simon is feeling a bit needy and clingy. This is why I take so many antihistamines.

This isn't actually about any of that. This is about my daughter, who lives with me. I'm a bit stressed, helping my brother. So she made a sausage omelette for us for dinner. A comfort food for both of us. Yall, I love her so much. She's so sweet.

Working on my jars today

One of my favourite things I've made. It holds my coffee pods.

Leeroy cuddles. Yes, this is me. And I want to live in this hoodie.

Night time cuddles with Simon.

This is the jar I am working on now. I'm still figuring it out, so it looks a bit fucked up, but I'm having fun

Dearest Simon. Hard to believe he's been with us for a few years now. We're still working through his trauma from being a stray, and he is still showing new behaviour and appreciation as he slowly recovers. He's a dear, and I adore him. But get tf off my coffee table

Another really awesome game at Hack Oldham. Look, when you're daughter whispers dangerous chaotic plans for a fight in your ear, you can only grin and execute it with glee. Magical traps were made to be triggered, bitches

Puds were fine, forgot to only do the outer edge of the cups so the air didn't flow right, and they're lopsided. Chicken was nice, but idk gravy seemed really salty. Turning the rest of the roast carcass into a chicken soup, with dumplings, tomorrow

In non surprising news, I got annoyed bcs the gilding wasn't sticking, and went to reapply the glue, only to realise I had used the varnish instead. For ref, how I see the jars in the drawer

No one breathe or we get a simulation of my pre migraine sparkles, except it's gilding flakes attempting to replace air

Daily cuddles with Oscar. He likes to craft with me.

Fun fact, I dropped the phone on him right after I took this and he left and now my lap is cold

Blessed picture

Or cursed?

(leeroy, on the right, HATES Simon, on the left, with a screaming passion; seriously, leeroy screams with all his kitty might when he even sees Simon).

And this is the gift my cat Leeroy keeps on giving when he cuddles.

My eldest, she got me this necklace, which I put my hematite d20 in, that she got new a few years ago. There's a long story involving those things, and the full set of hematite dice she got me, and it's an incredibly thoughtful gift that made me tear up a bit.

I honestly have the best kids. Well, they are proper grown now, but still. I do a lot of darning and shit to relax and, well, to fix shit instead of binning it. And I'm getting older. I mentioned to my youngest that I wanted to get these, and they got me them for Christmas! Honestly, so happy.

Training five cats to not attack my knitting has been the trial of my fibre arts life. *sigh* this son still tries to fight the yarn, often whilst it is still wrapped around my fingers.
