At this time of year, this Viburnum burkwoodii is the absolute hero of my garden. The scent pools, especially in the evenings.

Yeah, pretty sure this is not the Bottle Lake fire we’ve been told not to worry about, this is a new fire. And that is thick, very black smoke so I will be spending the rest of this lovely day inside
