Like seriously I feel like there's a "just draw the rest of the owl" step here. That mask on the right yields the pattern on the left, but sharper than the mask on the left would.

Stealing a frame from an asianometry video (youtu.be/HxyM2Chu9Vc?...) that we now compute blurier versions of the photomask to make sharper resulting exposures..

But now that I was googling for the project that inspired me, looks like a dozen others have popped up since. Dangit, never had a creative thought in my life.
You can also see that I ran out of the original roll of purple and by the time I bought another roll, the colour changed.

I would quite, quite like a high-quality 3d model of this that I can work with (an STL ideally, one that is correctly manifold so I can rework it in openscad.. It'd make a cute pair with my 3d printed real, working mac classic (its got an intel i5 in it and printed blower ducts and everything)

On this subject, when I left a company they were running on ~ 500 bucks a month of AWS and maybe 200-300 bucks a month of cheap leased big iron.
I left after a disagreement with Director #1, but Director #2 was still on speaking terms with me on the down-low. He shared me a few screenshots...

So you've just had a job advert come across your desk that has a 6 month contract length on it, with extensions possibly out towards 24 months and talk a great game about building a team, the usual "we're all family" business nonsense.
