There are a lot of other formats that start to get more on the fringe style of play pauper, vintage. But it all comes down to what you like. I love commander, but those games can take a long time. Most formats it’s multiple games per 50 minute round. Most formats use up to 4 of each card per deck.

PlayBoosters are relatively new for a pack style but most sets that are from the past 3 years are currently standard legal. Other formats beside commander that are generally played are Standard, Pioneer, Modern. And the biggest difference is how far back set wise each format go and all are 60 cards

As all commander decks are singleton format the packs don’t matter as much generally you want to stick to buying the singles you want for each deck rather than cracking packs of cards. Openings packs of either just gives you a chance at more cards for your deck. Collector boosters just adds a higher

However may not be legal in the current formats of the game as they will also include copies of commander cards from that set. Collector packs are not set up to be used in draft so they are just to open and try and get cards out of it.

Treatments and special exclusive chase cards like limited Serialized cards like for example the new one as a special card in gold art limited to only 77 numbered copies. Although it changes from set to Set. The base minimum of Rare’s and Mythic’s are at least 5 per pack. All cards in collector packs

Multiple rare card pulls in the Same pack. Collector Boosters are more expensive and designed to try to get people who collect the game to go for more expensive and flashier versions of cards. Every collector pack all the commons and uncommon cards are foil. There are multiple special art
