I would imagine the original is available… the new version was a bit of a pointless “remake” that changed a LOT of the original art direction and things, is almost unanimously viewed as inferior. However if it’s the only option it’s still worth it, just grab the og if poss :)

Oddly enough I think The Quarry was one of their longer ones, but still doable in a weekend kind of length.
The four Dark Pictures games that are out are standalone… but also follow on from each other. Well worth grabbing!
Until Dawn (original not remake) is an absolute classic too.

However I am not insinuating anything - I am outright stating that “Yes, all games should have easy modes. Yes, ALL OF THEM. Every single one” is indeed highly unreasonable.

I don’t care what modes games do or don’t have, but I don’t think developers should be forced to change their vision based on vocal demands like this. If they want it super hard, fine. If they want to add a story mode, great. But let devs decide.

I play them all a dozen times or so as “experiments” to see all possible permutations… and then I settle on my “canon” version and never deviate for the next hundred runs 🫠😂

Yeah it’s a lot harder in any kind of retail environment where you’re beholden to expected opening times and shit.
Retrain and get a job that isn’t customer facing so less time restricted? Easier said than done I know, but I managed it a few years back 😃 and I’m lazy as fuck usually haha

My team I just ask to do their 7.5 hours between 8am and 6pm. They can come in at 8 and have a 2.5 hour lunch nap if they want as long as their work gets done.

All I’ve gathered from all of this is you know you’re both unfairly harassing someone who themselves are incredibly marginalised and justifying it by pretending every criticism is an attack on your special characteristics, instead of simply being rebukes for you being cunts. Reflect and improve.
