F-ZERO GX is one of the greatest games because it has 40 playable characters that aside from around 5 or 6 of them nobody has ever really thought that much about, and gives all of them voice acted interviews and their own theme song and short film. this game Loves guys like "Octo Man" and "Billy"

The fun part here is that the student anti-austerity protesters of 2011 were absolutely right, and the horrific MPs and crank politics pundits who screamed abuse at them were catastrophically wrong. But it’s the MPs and hacks who are holding all the microphones, so the public will never hear this.
I'm quoted in this NBC News piece from yesterday. Reality is, a decade and a half of under-investment has crippled the state. Labour will have to pick up the poisonous bill, and then we'll all have to pay if Reform UK smashes everything left.

Thus I was in a meeting where one producer with strong views on trans issues tried to veto an interview bid for JK Rowling, saying she was "very problematic" (she didn't want to come on anyway. On different occasion another of our journalists told Rod Liddle, who did make it on to the show, to his face that they were dead against inviting him on, triggering a (justified) complaint from the columnist.

Her theory is that this originated in the mists of prehistory, that men were organized to have warrior bands, which meant they needed to have hierarchical structures. They needed to know how to take orders and give orders and not take it personally when their leader made a choice that they didn’t agree with. And they needed to be able to engage in conflict, to fight, and then, when that fight was over, you needed to be able to make peace. And that women, being more oriented toward child rearing, were more likely to have protracted conflict with their rivals within the tribe and were less likely to reconcile at the end. There are similar insights that can be gleaned from primatology.

Our friend is facing a trial in February regarding the custody of their young children. The case against them is based on the fact that their primary form of income is sex work. Notably, the judge of the initial custody arrangement ruled that their job was not reason enough to restrict their parenting time years ago. Because of this precedent, their lawyer feels very confident they will win their upcoming case. To defend their rights to parent their own children, our friend needs to raise $75,000 by February 2026. This staggering amount of money is required by the court to cover the costs associated with a two day trial (lawyers fees, expert witnesses, the court reporter, depositions, creation of trial binders, the list goes on). If they cannot secure these funds by the February deadline, they will be forced to settle, resulting in severely reduced interaction with their children. We obviously do not want this to happen. Our friend has provided for themself and their children for years, fighting their custody battle in private while continuing to be an incredible parent, friend, and educator. They can no longer face this by themselves, which is why we are asking for your support. In our current political climate, we know that our friend's situation is especially precarious. This is a crucial moment to show solidarity with a community member who needs it more than ever.
