Canada is growing up. We’ve relied on the USA to provide for us for way too long. Mistakes will be made but we’ll learn. A solid leadership is needed during these transformative years. Elbows Up 🇨🇦

“Many in the Conservative Party of Canada are vocally anti-choice, and Pierre Poilievre had no qualms about going on Jordan Peterson’s podcast, a conservative pundit funded in part by anti-abortion organizations. As a woman, I’m paying attention.” @mtltoula.bsky.social

Heavy-industry sectors like cement have long struggled to decarbonise because their processes require very high temperatures.

That’s why the new Rondo Energy heat-battery project in Thailand is such a big deal - powering a cement plant with low-carbon steam.

Ya. Sure.
Ah, well, the Israeli military is investigating itself, so all is in hand.
Israeli soldiers on Thursday appeared to kill a pair of Palestinian men in the occupied West Bank after they had surrendered to troops, drawing Palestinian accusations that the men were executed “in cold blood.” The Israeli military said it was investigating. https://to.pbs.org/4pbKwsi

It’s good advice to read it through. I’ve already heard some knee jerks. It’s an MOU not a contract. It’s a path (windy, rocky and potentially treacherous path) only.
Read the press release to get the FULL story and not the journalist’s spin

Know the facts so you can make up your own mind and not be a sheep of media

This is terrible.
I’m a strong proponent of MAID and it is included in my POA but it can never be a solution to treatable conditions. Somebody better get this sorted. And I doubt it will be Quebec.
Quadriplegic man who didn’t receive proper care in hospital received MAID after getting a severe bedsore, which was incurable, exposing bone. Spinal cord injury patients need special mattresses asap in hospital. Class action suit against Santé Québec being prepared.

This is good (I know that’s counter-intuitive). Now, serious negotiation between the relevant parties can begin. Those parties do not include the US.
No surprise.
Russia won’t make any concessions in a so-called peace deal.

Deputy FM Ryabkov claims that all possible concessions were already made by Putin “in Anchorage, Alaska.” Everything else is off the table, they won’t discuss it publicly and will continue pushing to achieve all declared goals.

It’s kinda like way back when they built “wartime houses”. They were simple, entry level homes that some people lived in all their lives.
We’re creating an entirely new Canadian housing industry.

Build Canada Homes will help double the pace of housing construction in Canada over the next decade — and we’re going to do it with Canadian workers, Canadian technology, and Canadian materials.
