I moved Dave to the garden furniture today. He’s much happier now he has a place to sit and isn’t just hanging around. The birds are happier too.

The Barn Cat is a lovely Mild. The Chick A Dee is a Bitter. Both local to New England. A couple of the best beers I’ve had in the US in 27 years of living here.

The most important piece of furniture arrived at the new house today. The cats will be happy when we all move in. Going to get a couple more, 1 for Anne’s and my office.

The colour on the stain tin made it look lighter than it turned out. Not too bothered though as pretty much all the wood in the house is a different colour. I bought some magnetic fasteners for the cupboard doors.

The floor in the master bedroom has been sanded and refinished. It looks great!
