Had a stall at the Pittsfield Farmers Market yesterday. Had a great day with both sales and enquiries regarding custom orders. Trying the Farmers Market in Lee MA next weekend.

From last weekends final match of the season. Not the match result we were hoping for. However, still qualifying for the UCL next season was massive! Thanks to the Boston Mags for being great hosts…

Technically speaking, the human walk is an ‘interrupted fall’, as it involves us tipping off balance and to the side to create momentum.

Word of the day, for the umpteenth time, is ‘apricate’, the sister of ‘apricity’. It means to bask in the warmth of the sun, especially on a chilly day.

Had to wait forever for a doctors appointment only to have it cancelled because of the snow we had yesterday. So I’m now sitting here at urgent care waiting to be seen. I’d put off coming to urgent care because I knew I had a doctors appointment scheduled for today. Next appointment is March 31st.

We had 9.5” of snow yesterday. That includes two hours of rain, before heavy snow again. Since around 9 pm last night we’ve had high winds gusting around 60 mph. Those same high winds are supposed to be with us all day. I have a doctors appointment at 11:30. Not looking forward to going outside!

We’re supposed to clear snow off our sidewalk within 24 hours of significant snow. We aren’t allowed to put it into the street. All fair enough. Yet when the snow plough comes down the street, they throw the snow onto the sidewalk. Bastards!

Got another 7” of snow last night. When we get back from England we will need to invest in a snowblower. I have a really messed up back and can barely move now. According to the neighbours this is the worst winter they have had here in 6 years. This happened the last time we moved also!

It’s going to be 30° warmer in the Northeast of England next week than it is here in MA. I can’t wait. 53° is going to feel like a heatwave!!!

Word of the Day: AMPHIBOLY - a sentence or phrase that can be interpreted in more than one way. ‘She is a lesbian vampire killer’ could mean she is a lesbian who kills vampires, she is a killer of lesbian vampires, or she is a lesbian vampire who kills.

There is a rumour going around that I have found God. I think this is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist. TERRY PRATCHETT

Watching Exeter against Forest at Exeter’s Stadium reminds me of watching games when I was a lad. There’s a lot of brown (mud) on the pitch. You could always tell the time of season by the condition of the pitch. Nice and green at the beginning. A total mud bath at the end.

Anne got shut out the house by the robot vacuum cleaner. It got stuck behind the front door and she couldn’t open it when she got back from the corner shop.
