A blustery walk on the marshes. We spotted the familiar, cross-faced, hoppity stance of a Little Owl in the dark, corner rafters of a barn, & were accosted by a shouty Sedge Warbler. Such a lot of attitude for the size! Hawthorn awash with ripening fruit and Yellow Toadflax lifted the day’s colours.
