To be clear, I'm not on benefits, I'm giving an example that weight is much more complicated than what is implied. And I have family on benefits, they have to borrow money at times to pay essential bills, they sure as hell aren't affording luxuries. And that is Canada, so I know the US is worse.

Not at all true. I took it when I had covid last month and it absolutely worked. I went from feeling awful and it feeling like it was going into my lungs and turning into pneumonia, to feeling so much better the next day, and completely better in a few days. Paxlovid was a game changer.
