I loved Kingsfield 4 and I didn't expect myself to beat it but I couldn't put it down

Only criticism I'd have of Dread is the soundtrack could be more memorable, but I absolutely love the story and the delivery of the story. Samus speaking Chozo as her only lines was such an incredible choice

Then of course the movement just feels good and was the only metroid I've speedran

Sofle is comfy! Ortholinear takes some getting used to but I swear by it now. Also the split format is probably saving my wrists

The lattice in the BG is so cool!

My daily driver/macropad is a sofle ortholinear split keyboard, then I built a few other kits for friends!

Plus lots of other weird stuff like swapping the switches out of a cheap bluetooth keyboard

Yeah but that's not as good of a punchline. It's good, but I think red ranger needing to get a tetanus shot is just a more striking mental image

Unless we can't play as the red ranger in the power rangers TTRPG, then we've really got a layered problem

Maybe also I have rose-tinted glasses ever since my brother lost mine and I've been too stubborn to buy another off of ebay

I saw this post out of context and was nodding but I had no idea that the context was power rangers ttrpg tetanus rules

I think it died for good reason, but I always thought its ideas could really go far if valve smoothed out its biggest problems

It's niche and takes a LOT of messing with per game to get working well, but there are some games I really enjoyed it with like Warframe

I think the lack of any right stick is a huge negative, but I ended up smoothing that out with a combo of gyro and rollerball mouse-look for the right pad

For real though, I love how the Steamdeck uses the SteamOS where it's not a closed garden and lets you mess with it from the linux side, and I'm not sure if the steam machine will stick this time but bless them for still trying

Gotta respect the choice of bringing back xbox 360 faceplates for the steam machine
