I had a very draining high school years and went on to uni not understanding that I was probably in burn out mode, so that made the whole experience a nightmare. I definitely feel more drained when my mental health is not good, and unfortunately that’s the case majority of the time

The only time I feel I had energy was when I was a kid. Sometimes happened during puberty and I skipped the 20’s energy boost to go directly to grandma energy.

I think it’s a good thing to do in general. I don’t collect a lot mainly due to the cost of certain items but I find I have to retrain my brain to think whether I can appreciate something without necessarily owning it.

I wonder if the plastic hype is just part of the consumerism culture in Japan . I’ve never been there but every time I watch videos of people going grocery shopping I’m quite shocked at the amount of plastic packaging I see. And I know this goes far beyond groceries.

Don’t know what brand you tried but Tofoo is normally a good one. It can crumble depending on the shape but normally it hold pretty well for me. Also, you might need to go for an extra firm one
