all because they couldn’t see how weird it was. trauma does not go away as soon as you age up, you can still fuck up just with fake items and not real items now. in my eyes it doesn’t make you a lesser human if you can’t even realize that the fake shit you’re seeing

and like. i’ve said before many traumatized ppl will not realize what they’re doing is wrong for years. even after adulthood, they can realize one thing is wrong but not the full thing and then grow up more and feel sick that they would still see that even if it’s now a fake version of it.

sorry this subject just really really bothers me in the same vein as you cannot be groomed into zoophilia contact or no contact. these are such nuanced things and it’s something twitter can’t ever discuss bc they refuse to actually care.

you cannot write off this as ‘oh they’re children’. you also cannot imply someone is Born evil. so much of my horrible experiences have been linked to me being 11 and my friends being 14 and pulling weird things with me.

traumatized children will do fucked up things. I did fucked up things. i try to forgive because it’s Not easy when you grow up and realize what you did. but it doesn’t change that you Did it. and have to learn and Grow from doing it.

i (just today) got food for this person living in my house bc we both eat it. i felt gross and weird and horrible bc i know what she did has hurt someone im so close too even if she still talks to her. she didn’t know what she was doing, but it doesn’t change the hurt of it BEING done.

i know family of mine (one who i live with) who perpetrated cocsa and i also know ones who were the victim. the perpetrators being traumatized does not change the actions. it doesn’t not change the victims hurt. and it is up to the victim for forgiveness.
