I guess I see it differently, her post-run book was a big opportunity to say something and lead the party in a positive direction. I can’t properly judge without reading it, but it seems like she wasted the opportunity, which is a valid thing to criticize.

The dems have no leaders, as in people who have a bold vision and try to sell it to the public. We have politicians who try to meet the public where they’re at, which results in low enthusiasm and books that answer questions no one asked.

They’re not saying it failed to prove its thesis, they’re saying that the choice of thesis is emblematic of why the party is in so much trouble.

They go hand in hand, living well enough to be healthy in your 80s will keep you living to your 90s. If you hope to refuse treatment once you’re old that’s fine, but it’s pretty likely you’ll feel differently about letting yourself die when the time comes.
