Some points about the exoplanet DMS discovery not getting as much focus:
- Evidence isn't strong enough to confirm it's there
- Only having a biological origin on Earth doesn't mean it cannot have inorganic origin

I’m reading Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park in Spanish for the first time. Read it in English several times. I’ve only just realised that when the injured guy at the start says “lo sa raptor”, he isn’t trying to say something in Spanish. He’s literally trying to say velociraptor. Lo sa raptor

I was right about how Switch 2 Edition games would work. I don't think they said it in the Direct but they have confirmed on separate videos that the upgrades will be included in NSO, which is a good incentive to be subscribed (along with multiplayer, access to retro games etc)
My prediction for Switch 2 "editions":
- Devs can make patches for S1 games that have S2 power, these are the S2 edition games
- They will charge for these but not price of full game
- Nintendo will include S2 edition patches in NSO subscription for some of their biggest S1 games
- Devs can make patches for S1 games that have S2 power, these are the S2 edition games
- They will charge for these but not price of full game
- Nintendo will include S2 edition patches in NSO subscription for some of their biggest S1 games

Finally playing Monster Hunter Wilds today. A new MonHun for me is special. Like a new Zelda, Mario, or From Software game. Been in love with this series for 15 years and I love how it finally has a bigger audience

It took quite a while to get used to the feel after SF6 but now that I've figured it out I gotta say the #COTW combo mechanics are super fun!

Just finished This Is How You Lose the Time War and it burrowed into my brain more than I had realised. Sad to let it go. I’m about 10% into The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Very intriguing and an easy read so far. What’s the last book you loved? (gjen.uk/t/1m)

I have no desire to swarm bluesky with bots but yesterday I got GIFEarth up and running again behind the scenes. I can't be bothered making more accounts so I'll probably set it up to post through this account. It's once a day at most so shouldn't annoy anyone and I wont automate anything else
