Isn't that worse? I feel like that's worse. What goes into approving a title? Now it feels like you just sold the Traveller brand so that someone could try and sell some 5e crap with "Traveller" on the cover.

But resources are being spent on it that, IMO, would be better spent elsewhere. I get that there are dollar signs and you have a new building to pay for so I can't blame you. But, yuck.

I don't hate it because GURPS fits well with the overall feel of Traveller. Combat remains deadly. It's classless. GURPS is a much better fit than D&D.

I would rather they just do lore books. 5e is a terrible system and feels nothing like Traveller.

Since it's 5e based they'll have 80 to 100 -ish and be nearly impossible to kill. Prepare for battles between 4 PCs and a small army of space marines going in the PCs favor every single time.

Honestly, I'm a little in shock over how awful this is.
Was there any market research done? The 5e rule set is just awful for the feel of Traveller.
I won't be buying any of this shit and I'm going to have to reconsider buying 'normal' Traveller stuff if this is the direction you see as the future.

So gross. I was preparing to do a DCC campaign once we finish the current PF2e campaign. No way I'm doing that now. DEEPLY regretting that DCC/MCC bundle I got off BundleOfHolding or HumbleBundle. Licking racist ass is not a good look.

She probably would. There is a very high percentage of people in this country that are just plain dumb and easily mislead. That plus the fact that it'll be almost impossible to get a fair vote makes it pretty likely that Midge would win.
