They actually wrote online that it had nothing to do with the organizers that put the ride on earlier. They just used the name. The wnbr is an organization which sets the objectives. A ride against a person has nothing to do with the objectives of the organization. The name was hijacked.

It had nothing to do with the ride Portland puts on year after year. It was hijacked by another group. Just nasty.
