Fifteen libraries across Alaska will be gaining access to a large online database of national and in-state news sources.
Grant funding will give 15 Alaska libraries free access to many paywalled newspapers
The libraries can now offer online access to up-to-date news, plus an archive of old papers.

Amazing flea market find for $10. This Ashton Limestone is. the base of an inkwell. It was made from stone salvaged from the Parliament @HouseofCommons which was bombed in #WWII May 1941. These and other items were made for fundraisers for war relief. I think I got a treasure!

OUR BILL PASSED the New York State Assembly yesterday -- UNANIMOUSLY! 🤩

It's still not a done deal yet. It has to go to the governor, and be signed, and not have last-minute line-item edits or a veto.

But we are now SO much closer to reforming New York's vital records access!
