Nah but when I spoke to my team about starting HRT they all asked me weird af questions except my Muslim hoa-mahi who waited to ask privately if I would like her to start wearing her hijab on our zoom calls because that’s what she would do if there was a man present who she wasn’t related to.
I live in an area with a particularly high Muslim population for the UK, there's like 3 mosques in walking distance, can't move without tripping over a prayer mat. despite being a very visible faggot, to date the worst homophobia I have encountered is benign confusion
I feel like there's a way higher % of chill Muslims than there are chill Christians

When I met Ryan Coogler several years ago, we were standing in a group of people chatting, when a woman with visible hearing aids walked up, and he casually began to sign the whole conversation so she could participate. She mouthed “thank you”. He nodded and just kept doing his thing.

Couldnt get a copy of @sachacoward.bsky.social’s book delivered to Aotearoa, asked the older brother to buy it in Germany & bring it when he came home for the little brothers wedding, except the adhd runs strong in our whānau so he arrived but the book remained in Berlin.
