I've been struggling to nail down where my "lore" started (per the trend making the rounds on social media right now). Tonight, I started watching "The Pitt" and realized that it all started with ANOTHER Noah Wyle med show I used to sneak watch when my mom was obsessed in the mid to late 90s.

I don't know what it says about me, but I tend to write MCs who are very unsure of themselves or consider themselves unworthy of the things that come their way -- love, power, etc. Their friends/partners show them they're deserving.

I tend to write MMCs who think they aren't deserving of romance (tenderness, care, affection) and FMCs who have had bad experiences with romance in the past so they are guarded but open to the idea of loving again.
