I saw one of these. When someone calls it "ai slop" in comments, "authors" always start to whine lol. "But I put so much effort in mixing and finding hd pictures for it!". And the same arguments keep repeating between each one of this AI bros, it's like a hive mind. Interesting world we live in.

It's more about ethics and lack of effort. There's literally nothing subjective in the page. You can rate the games there, but how useful would it be compared to itch itself? And these games are not hand picked, an algorithm most likely that pulls random itch games and copies them. What's the point?

I don't see it as something offensive either. I'm just trying to make sense of what copying itch io page 1 to 1 should do for the game. The descriptions don't even fit. The site presents itself as a "platform to showcase different games" and all it does is just pointing out that the game exists.

Newgrounds does wonders for indie games! I posted mine simply because I already had an account, didn't even consider it at first. No announcements, no big amount of followers, nothing. And in ONE night the game gained around 100 views and 50 rankings. Which are crazy numbers for a nobody like me :)

It's not about the lighting really. The tiles look "noisy" simply because there are a lot of objects on it. All with very noticeable black outline for each individual piece of grass. Simple solutions could be giving outline a different color and reducing amount of grass per tile.
