Didn’t read as much as I’d hoped on the trip so I just finished Good Boy now, in the quiet dark of a jet-lagged morning. Shed a few tears. Beautifully written story that I suspect will stay with me a while, Cannot wait to read another from Neil! 💕

Yeah, British flapjacks are not remotely like American ones. They’re not quite like granola bars, they’re not as crunchy but they’re DENSE. I love me a raspberry jam and coconut one!

Gosh and what a beautifully written book, too. Great adaptation that I suspect is gonna age well, and become a spooky season sleepover classic.
