Part of the reason I'm more concerned about my parents being scammed than mugged is that they receive multiple calls per day trying to scam them and do not receive multiple mugging attempts per day. I also feel like the cops would maybe try to catch the mugger vs scammers who'd 100% get away with it

I don’t think he ever said “undesirable“ in the public meetings, but I definitely clocked the “quality” comment and highlighted it. Meaning to draw attention to the still prevalent public opinion that we should segregate housing by income. This happened after PC discussion started.

In the most recent PC meeting he said something like ”several [Homewood] neighbors said they were happy that the proposal didn’t include affordable units, because that way there’d be a higher quality of tenant there”.
