Let's put aside the fact that, in a *sane* country, the ACA wouldn't be needed at all, because there would be universal single payer healthcare, instead of greedy corporate for-profit health insurance that's sucking the American people dry like a vampire squid.

Firing on shipwrecked sailors is literally the example in the book for illegal orders. One would *think* an admiral would know better.

They called us "essential" to boost moral. A better descriptor would have been "expendable".
December 1, 2025 at 5:11 AM
As we found out during the pandemic, retail workers aren't "essential" workers- they're "expendable" workers.

I don't think even "favored nation status" works the way he thinks it does. Dementia on full display.

I do think Rep Bacon would be foolish enough to underestimate the stupidity of Sec. Kegsbreath.

At this point the dog whistles are air horns.

That ain't Don, Miller wrote that.
November 28, 2025 at 3:05 PM
Maybe, but quite a few who voted for trump are delighted he is doing this.

Isn't there already a shortage of healthcare professionals? This is *not* going to help.
(That may be the intention- making it so only the wealthy can get adequate care.)

They're assuming anyone in the regime is actually capable of feeling shame. Most of them are not.
November 26, 2025 at 10:53 PM
He's talking about a post-scarcity civilization. Like Star Trek.
We're a long way off from that, socially speaking- gotta get rid of our addiction to capitalism first.

Aphantasia is a thing, and it's very real. I just can't picture it.
November 25, 2025 at 11:14 PM
I'm surprised it took this long, frankly.
