Honestly #OuterWorlds2 may be my favorite game in a long time to just wonder around in. It's a lot of fun, there's always lots of surprises sprinkled throughout the environment, and everything from the narrative design, level design, voice over, and writing is so on point.

Well, if you work for them like you worked for the rest of us on the shutdown, I'm guessing they're screwed, aren't they?

And that's not to say that some billionaires haven't done some good with their wealth, but if money is power, and power corrupts, that amount of wealth seems likely to have negative effects both on the person and the society they live in. If nothing else, it's a sign of a broken system to my eyes.

Yeah, point taken. Certainly willing to say that I've met millionaires who seem like "good" people but to my mind, being a billionaire by definition means you've had to exploit systems and/or people. With such an obscene amount of wealth concentrated on a single person, it tips a moral scale for me

Too true! (especially about *both* our wives) 😉

It was interesting to me though, as Gates pushed a bit of a rebrand over the years as a "benign philanthropist" but he seemingly is drinking the same kool-aid as the likes of Musk, Ellison, et al

Not terribly surprising considering how he started 😛
