So many people think that, it's not surprising that politicians wouldn't know better (yet). What I am more worried about is how they will end up defining "creative", without dumping on human things we consider creative

That could be true, but then it was true of the other 3 global orgs I have worked in! Unless you have a senior person sponsoring the change, and a new social media site is not going to get sponsored, not yet anyway. Enough traction here (fingers crossed) and that could change!

I know, but in my org (as an example) the website team (who run the CMS) nor the PR team (responsible for social media) would have access to do that. It would need to go through a change management process with internal IT, which is not quick. It is easy to give up on that sort of thing!

I get why, but in lots of big orgs, the Comms teams won't be able to add TXT records to a domain. Getting approval for that would be a slog, and probably deemed not worth it in the short to medium term
