I really enjoyed Carve the Mark and Fates Divide - they are a sci-fi duology with lots of space travel, fate/prophecy, overcoming trauma, found family, and queer representation in some side characters. They lean YA but are super good.

someone told me about this game at sgdq and now I’m dying to try it

I hope co-op turns out to be a cool speedrun because I feel like it has potential.
