Feels lost to multiple traumas, and a system feeling like more domestic abuse back in my home. Once a useful, bright, helpful, likeable intelligent soul, now reduced to a sad sad MitaBean.
Thank you, sending blessings back your way too 🤍

I don't have any family beyond a 95yr old Mum in a care home. I'm just a physically disabled unpaid carer to my autistic partner, also physically disabled. So, if we even have a Christmas any more, it will be spent praying the agency don't mess up our meal prep care calls at just 30 mins each.

And frequently have absolutely no idea what plants, trees, herbs and what good they can do, are even in their own back yards or location.

& apparently I have an 'attitude problem', not they have staffing issues when staff are off! Regulars have no issues here, but the top still want profits so, blame the client. I have not fallen off a Christmas tree! So, I'll sit with you on this marginalisation of already marginalised voices Jay.

3) Then they wonder why my MH from existing PTSD is back and no help for that either it seems here too. I now forgive myself for unable to carry this burden. Society is about caring too, you are right ... care to really care appears to have long left this country, I don't want to burden the NHS.

2) so care regularly is not happening and tbh, nobody cares. I can't access a thing let alone a pharmacy when left housebound plus caring duties on top as well, when physically I cannot do those either since 1999 & awaiting 2 spinal neurosurgeries now deferred 1st for 6 months due to care in a mess

1) Personal experiences of it all I am not surprised one bit. Failing social care is driving health backwards, in my case for certain. Unpaid carer with severe disabilities, 3rd party unable to recruit new PAs, care left down since June 2024. Left just stuffed with an agency constantly understaffed.

Sending you strength & empathy. Long time severe disabled, fighting for my own health, everything so much harder with left housebound, I cannot even be with my Mother in her times of need & that feels so so sad. Sending your Mum & you a hug of reassurance, it isn't easy having to be the strong one.

And some of us brave wee battered Englander souls against all of this, need rescued in by Scotland. Please.

Nobody wants to realise this Jay. Already a diagnosis of PTSD poss cPTSD as multiple traumas & ongoing, none chance to be addressed, now passed off as me needs to learn to control my emotions(after 20+ years told I need to start expressing them after swallowed them during 25+yrs DA).I'm lost.

I hear you NanaJan, I'm pension this year, partner has another 7 years thanks to pension age changes. I shall still be on edge having to fight for his too. Local council already takes all of mine in care charges, for failing care. So yes, our peace and stability mean nothing. Sending hugs x

There is no proper care left Jay. I've been waiting for help with trauma based PTSD constantly triggered again & again by the servicesI'm obliged to use. Diagnosed 2018. There's an endless circle of passed between departments, never fitting into any of them, it's some form of demented treadmill.

Sharing this on FB Dr Jay if that is ok, I've friends probably needing to hear this today.

And hide behind the words, I would long love to ban (or shove where the sun doesn't shine 😉), 'We've been seen to do something' which invariably does nothing. However they can self absolve by those words. I hear you.

I'm wondering how on earth our local council is going to cope if I haven't PIP care any more to take from me, for failing care. It's beyond destroying me financially, the council took all of my PIP care and then some more as theirs instead, long ago now. The whole system stinks. stay strong people🙄

That's if you can even find legal help that has legal aid, and will touch either the care or the benefits side. I tried most of last year, as when you know something is against the international human rights, it sits like a lead weight, reliant you can't access the help you so desperately need. 😢

Go for it 🙂I would say become a politician, call it FinallySomebodyWithCommonSense Party. Except we need you here, to speak our minds 💕

(2) So you can't win, still left with help coming at the wrong times so no help at all.11am sent to assist with shopping order they were told is at 2pm, anybody see why your left with no proper help? agency gets paid, and you, all you get is higher pain levels, no help, and labelled. What's the point?
February 21, 2025 at 2:58 PM
It's why I am soaked in tears already today Dr Jay, you need help physically, they say ask for help, you ask for that help, they do nothing, then they put you down as needy, you get mislabeled, your cptsd is back in survival mode. Unsurprisingly you get defensive as a result. (1)
