Petty monarchs and their portraits…reminds me of Napoleon III ‘s portrait being rejected from the Salon in 1863, so he set up a Salons de Refusées and inadvertently created a space for Impressionism 🙃

The closing of the Dept of Ed rhetoric is horrifying, any student who receives Federal financial aid, any student K-12 who receives any special education services, all Title 1 schools, 60% of NYC schools are Title 1, they want to get rid of the funding for all of it 🥺 who are we????
