For real. I find the "obviously Future Class was worthless, I always knew it was shit, these pitiful rubes really thought someone gave a shit about them?" angle to be at best unproductive especially when it comes from fellow marginalized devs.

It's purely managers wanting to live in a world where ideas guys write a prompt and a fully-formed game comes out of the machine (and people buy that slop because their ideas are soooo goooood of course). I don't ascribe it serious motives. It's coming from a place of hating creatives, period.

Of course there are plenty of other simple concepts being ignored. People think we're all "activists" by trade who have never shipped a game. People think we're all students, not experienced professionals. People who do not give a shit about facts or truth will continue to distort the narrative.
