@russincheshire.bsky.social Any news as to when your new book "Tories: The End of an Error" might be published?

I'm desperate to put the final nail in the shit-show trilogy.
It's only been doom&gloom news reading at the moment and I need something to cheer me up.

Charlotte Owen received a paid, life-long role voting on UK legislation on the back of the kind of lukewarm endorsement you might give to a graduate recruit to put on LinkedIn after a brief work placement.
After an FOI dispute lasting 18 months I've finally obtained the official reasons Boris Johnson gave for the peerages of Charlotte Owen & Ross Kempsell. The reasons cited for Owen seem thin, inadequate and lacking in evidence, leaving her peerage as a mystery rather than justifying & explaining it.

"When Mr Johnson left No 10, Charlotte was asked to stay on to assist the new Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP."

"She is the first generation in her family to attend university"

... are these really the top criteria for giving someone a Lordship, a job for life making our laws?

Away at Woking today - Boston United need 3 points to stay in touch with the relegation battle.
No news on the manager front - could this be the chance for Martin Woods to put himself forward?

Apart from the snide cruelty, what astounds me about stories like this is how politically inept the Tories are these days.

This Tory MP is sitting on a majority of just 105.

Struggling working class parents are exactly the sort of people in who switched to Tory in northern towns in 2019.
'Crap parents' behind struggling children, Tory MP James Daly claims
James Daly, the MP for Bury North, was elected in 2019. He is a member of the "New Conservatives" caucus in Westminster.

...and also I'm guessing Dido Harding's £36b failed 'NHS' Test and Trace will also have come out the NHS budget.

Angela Rayner. One of the most genuine & inspirational political interviews I have ever seen. 👏👏
Thoroughly recommend taking the time to watch the whole thing.
