the other day i was reading on your site and thought how glad i was that article summaries came with the note that they were written by journalists. you do vital work and the downstream cost to readers if your managers shoot themselves in the foot on this will be immense.

to me the biggest parallel to this in the US today is local policing and the mass incarceration industry, a cadre of self-made victims of the self-inflicted trauma of waging war on their neighbors, equipped with the tools to hunt and cage people

"the essay sucks ass" is no doubt true, couldn't be bothered to read it, but consider that the essay may have been written to receive an F in order to instigate a campaign against the trans TA. in any case it's not a great dunk because this isn't about the essay, it's about purging trans ppl
