Looking to build community and make Oakland a better place.
First BayWheels station directly on the lakeside path at Lake Merritt. Let's hope this can drive some ridership and lead to some rebalancing in Oakland.

Beg buttons don't have a place in any dense City that wants to prioritize people. In Oakland it slows down walkers who often don't realize they need to beg to cross and leads many to dangerously cross the street on red lights out of frustration. Ban beg buttons in urban areas!

They are also building the Sabercat Trail to connect Ohlone College and neighborhoods over 680 on the hill that will hopefully be upzoned with SB# 79 or follow-up bills.

Oakland Ballers won the Pioneer League Championship. Amazing win and I can't wait for the parade!

Excited for the new 2-way protected bike lanes on the Northwest corner of Lake Merritt. But it seems predictable that cars are going to end up jumping this mini curb and hitting someone. I wish they would just add real protection.

I don't enjoy road biking unless it is on mostly protected bike lanes. The loop on the Bay Bridge East Span, Golden Gate, and Richmond/San Rafael bridges is probably 70% protected. The ferry from TI to downtown works but we have to wait till 2027 for frequent service share.google/dyrQPtFD5tbi...

This is offensive. Going to report this bike as broken.

Hiked to the new AC Transit 31 from Orinda BART on the other side of the East Bay hills. One of my favorite long hikes and a quick transfer helped school pickup.

I love being able to jump on a train in Oakland to places like Downtown San Jose which are bikable for my kid.
