Wow, I can't believe "compromising" with NIMBYs has only made the NIMBYs take off the masks even harder.
A man who just testified against the 625 Winslow Way project, who says he's seen Bainbridge Island get more "crowded" since he moved there, compared looking at an affordable housing project next to the ferry terminal to the now-demolished Alaskan Way Viaduct on the Seattle Waterfront.

Hard to convince younger generations, but for decades, Republicans went on and on about how two of the worst things imaginable were (1) state intervention in the market and (2) DC using federal troops against US states; both so bad the people should be ready for armed rebellion in case it happens.

Hey #a2council, can we not block the diminished bike parking with barricades. The removed bike racks were consistently full and without them we need every space we can get.

N.b., they get a lot of emails these days, so a clear subject line like “CLUP Support and Thanks” is helpful. It’s good to mention your ward and/or neighborhood, but emails to planning are public, so I wouldn’t include my address or phone. Don’t expect a response unless you ask specific questions.
