Suppose the singing birds musicians,
The grass whereon thou tread'st the presence strewed,
The flowers fair ladies, and thy steps no more
Than a delight measure or a dance

"Do I not know now of a day in Spring?
No minute of that wild day ever slips
From out my memory; I hear thrushes sing,
And wheresoever I may be, straightway
Thoughts of it all come up with most fresh sting"

I too live in woodsy suburbs and have been unexpectedly terrorized by fox screams I thought were human! They pass through once in a while, early morning mostly 🦊

I don't know how you feel about Vaseline, but I just discovered these balm sticks and it's really been keeping the backs of my hands and tips of my fingers soothed and pain-free in a non-messy way

I was once lucky enough to have a toad return three years in a row to spend the summer on my back porch. He bathed in a Tupperware lid, still managing to look quite royal.

I encountered this over the weekend and instantly registered "miracles" as "ducks." 😂 After seeing your post, I think maybe I expected to see a k after the c, and the shape of the font made it easy for my brain to fill in the rest. Still wildly silly. 🦆🦆
