There was this longitudinal study that showed stress was only bad for your health if you believed it was bad for you, as in you were stressing about being stressed. I realise, this might be the dumbest advice, but try to embrace the stress I guess, and hopefully it will pass soon!

I was wondering about placement new and the role it plays w.r.t. to strict aliasing adherence. I felt a reference to it was missing in the otherwise fantastic blog posts from @gankra.bsky.social on the topic. Do you just memcpy and trust the compiler to optimize it away?
