What poster did you have hanging on your wall as a kid?

Today's thought. Give it a few minutes with your cortex.

I guess my grandmother did, she saved this for some reason.

Sorting the saved clippings of both my mother and grandmother. Finding all sorts of relevant things they saved for some unknown reason.

Anyone who spends time in a cemetery is very aware of how many children died. Some parents had means but not all.
This beautiful stone is in the cemetery at West Point USMA.

Maybe the practice of taking out insurance upon your child's birth that expired IF they reached 14 will return.
That would be a great way to move more wealth from the poor to the rich. Just enough to cover the funeral costs and a pretty stone for your daughter.

May I recommend taking time today when you are most outraged to check out local small museums. Donate to keep them alive.
There's a museum dedicated to the 982 European Jews that the US did accept as refugees during WW II. Yes, you read it correct, less than 1000.

Because I had to for myself, here's Ukraine overlaid. Ukraine would compare nicely in size to Boston to Charlotte (far future scifi BosWash). And within that footprint, please don't exclude what we call light rail or subway. They're trains.

Sons And Daughters of Liberty strongly believed in boycott. It works. Must be the 'woke' outnumber the 'asleep'. [public shaming of their neighbors was a useful tactics also]

You will be happy to know that the Founding Fathers, the Sons AND Daughters of Liberty, were very pro economic boycott (cancel culture), doxxing, and public shaming.

Maybe someone in American Government should know a little American History. Wonder where that whole idea of mail in voting started anyways!

Just read it. Pathetic and sad. "Agreed to allow" the USA to choose who it's friends are? You pathetic small weak men. Unmarked graves for all of them. A number in an unmapped section.

Had a relaxing day watching the M4 Sherman in a non parade setting. No he didn't point the tank right at me. Camera on tripod.

Really enjoying the latest targeted advertisement. I'm ok without this in my pocket. I don't refer to it that often. In fact never read it so no reason to now.

It's easy to see. And it's only been worse since the end of June.

Anyone have an updated one of these charts. Be a good day to make it plain to see.
