A few pints in town

Who'd of guessed, the whole sordid system should be abolished, sadly politicians from all parties get their snouts in the trough as soon as they get a sniff of power

When you go out in a downpour for a coffee on purpose to test out your new waterproof trousers, they passed 😂 Great brand if you like stuff that doesn't feel like a bin bag

After a lovely walk from Gateacre to Allerton Road, and a little visit to town, now enjoying a coffee and cake back in Crosby, the cake tastes better than it looks to be fair 🤣

TNT shouldn't be anywhere near any type of sports broadcasting to be fair
The TNT coverage is absolutely woeful. Comms slightly ahead of the action, random unexplained graphics and not enough variety in the commentators. #Ashes

After a Labour MP offered to give up his seat for Andy Burnham to challenge Starmer's leadership - is it now a question of 'when', not 'if'?

Growing unease over Keir Starmer’s leadership, compounded by poor polling, is prompting Labour MPs to consider whether a change at the top is becoming inevitable.

Everyone knows what Farage is, ffs that's why he's so popular with a certain demographic
“Were the seeds of racism or anti-Semitism sown at Dulwich College?”

Scotland’s footballers are celebrating after qualifying for the World Cup for the first time this century. As somebody who followed the Scots through six campaigns from 1974 to 1998, I’ve taken a look back. Talk about an emotional roller-coaster! www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/689...

Always had a soft spot for Scotland at the World Cup since seeing them qualify at Anfield for the 1978 finals in Argentina, well done Robbo 👏👏

Unscientific but real world review of new Patagonia Torrentshell 3l jacket, after 5 hours in pretty heavy rain my base layer wasn't even damp, probably the first jacket I've ever had that's been that waterproof, even inside the pockets

Been a few players over the years who have just missed their peak when at the club, the likes of Babbel and Litmanen spring to mind, but this fella was the one I'd have enjoyed the most, an absolute artist #LFC

Been fortunate to change my devices recently, S25 has replaced the larger S24 Ultra, love the smaller phone, like the old days 🤣 Bought a S11 Ultra 14.6 inch tablet with keyboard case which integrates perfectly with the phone. Finally a Garmin Fenix 8 51mm watch which is perfection

Why would any Liverpool fan care what Alan Shearer thinks about anything that involves his club, Newcastle. It's the same with all the ex Utd pundits and ex Arsenal players who spout shite about us to appeal to their clubs fan base #LFC

I see loads of clips on X from accounts that show Liverpool in the 70's and 80's when I most enjoyed football, a time when sports science and the use of statistics hadn't developed levels of fitness and tactics that have increasingly stifled what I most loved about the game #football
So many people claimed to be bored by Guardiola-inspired possession football in Prem Lge — despite 📈 in no of goals.

This season? More direct play, set-piece goals up, loooong delays at corners, long throws galore — total goals significantly 📉.

Thrilling it ain’t
