This has always been the goal of Zionism. To acquire maximum amounts of the territory of Palestine with as few Arabs on said territory as possible.

'Minimum Aravim maximum yehudim'

No State in the world can claim legitimacy while the population it rules & governs rejects it.

This is then also combined with economic considerations and factors, destruction of healthcare, destruction of education... all with the goal of making life impossible for Palestinians in order to pressure them into giving up & leaving to go elsewhere in pursuit of a better life free of oppression

Israel combines these strategies of delegitimisation, dehumanisation, erasure, and fragmentation with its violent & oppressive policies that include home demolitions, ethnic cleansing, mass murder, forcible transfer, wholesale destruction in Gaza, and much more.

Israel also created an entirely new identity, 'Israeli Arab', in order to eradicate Palestinian identity.

All of these aspects are sociological, psychological, and cultural.

Genocide isn't just about the numbers of people physically killed. It's about erasure, too.

Israel attempts to erase Palestinian culture, history, food and identity.

Israel has, to varying degrees of success, fragmented the Palestinian people (Gaza, Jerusalem, West Bank, 1948, diaspora).

Israel created new categories of Palestinian dependent on their ID cards.

If you think about it carefully, it becomes quite obvious that Israel has perfected multiple overlapping strategies and tactics for destroying the Palestinian people. It isn't just about the physical destruction of Palestinians through the use of armed violence... it's everything else, too.

What I would ask:

Is the PM implying that Oct 7 justifies any subsequent atrocity?
That the UK doesn't even have to look at Israel's conduct, because Oct 7?
That the UK now violates its own obligations under int. law, because Oct 7?
Has the PM abandoned legal reasoning?
