It was my first trip to the Grand Canyon. It’s impressive, but oddly smaller than I thought. Considering all of the places with no railings, my best advice if you go there is, don’t fall in.

We drove up Lolo Pass road, dodging the potholes and fallen trees, until forced to turn around by a small landslide. I took this one on the way back toward Welches.
