I’m sure I’m not the only one who cringes at their old art. But this is a reminder to myself of what I am proud of: that I kept going. I am not the best artist in the world, but I am better than yesterday and I will be better tomorrow. Because I keep picking up the stylus.

I keep forgetting to post here because it’s a lovely place. But I did buy a festive crab pillow last week so there is that.

Still getting used to being over here… need to follow some more cool folks. (By which I mean anyone who posts illustrations, dogs, LGBTQ+, nerdy, comics, books or anytime just a bit cool.)

Big fan of Sprout at @dogstrust in Glasgow. Not everyone likes them on Christmas dinner but they definitely will love Sprout! Fingers crossed he finds a home soon.

One thing I love illustrating is @dogstrust.bsky.social dogs who are looking for homes. This is Fritter who is waiting for their forever home in Kenilworth, my local centre. Who wants to take him home?

Someone remind me next year how much I regret not going to Thought Bubble so I can just go to Thought Bubble.

This place is quickly becoming the art community I hoped it would be. I hope it just continues to grow and grow.
