Victorian Fortification built in 1857 as a prototype to the Palmerston Forts, now a Scheduled Monument and looked after by the Friends of Shoreham Fort, Charity No1147869. A diverse and unique history including the Charge of the Light Brigade, WW1 and WW2
A bit blowy at the fort today but it didn’t stop the volunteers working :)
