I grew up near Windsor so the Pistons were my closest home team. I took a brief hiatus to cheer for the Raptors during their championship run (and made this image 😂) but I'm still a Pistons fan first.

Took Lauren to see Of Monsters and Men in Toronto last night but one of the singers lost their voice! They played 4 songs without her then told us to keep our tickets and cancelled the show. Kind of a bummer but the songs they did sounded great so hopefully they can reschedule soon!

Ajay Mitchell closed out the half last night on a 4-point play where his hand was fouled by the defender flying by. It'll be interesting to see how consistent refs are on smaller high five fouls, not just obvious 3 point fouls.

The rationale for Doug Ford banning speed cameras is that they work too well? The statistics in his letter make them sound amazing! What a great windfall for municipalities who are starved for revenue. And it's interesting how certain phrases are weaponized, like "cash grab."

One of my favourites is the Princess Street Promenade, where they close a huge section of downtown for the day. It's awesome to see people walking and enjoying what downtown has to offer without cars getting in the way.

Kingston does an awesome job creating events and reasons for folks to come downtown: concerts, art installations, coffee bars, public skating rink, outdoor movies, festivals, dance lessons, etc.
