1) ESA populations are mostly evenly distributed between zip codes earning $50k to $150k anually.
2) Controlling for student population size, ESA rates are much higher in wealthier zip codes. With 86 ESA students for every 1,000 minors in zip codes earning above $150k.

-Openings down from their March 2022 peak. The gap between openings and hires is still wider than pre-pandemic.
-Fewer Americans are quitting their job. Quits are down 31% from Jan. 2022. Involuntary discharges (firings & layoffs) are up 26%.

Migrant encounters along the southern border rose after 3 of the past 4 presidents came into their first term. While noteworthy, there is a seasonality effect in the data as encounters are historically lowest in winter and highest in spring.

Maricopa County Supervisor Tom Galvin is advocating for election reforms with the goal of getting a larger share of ballots processed and tabulated on election night. This year's reporting period was about average.
