Either they are military or law enforcement related or they are test flights for drone delivery services or for Google Earth surveillance. Of course the authorities know. I doubt every much they are either foreign or aliens.

However, it doesn’t take hero worship to realise that the death of one high ranking and visible individual is inevitably viewed with more sympathy than the deaths of a thousand faceless ones his actions have caused.
