Loveland area:
A streamer of cloudy light reaches up into the sky from the North. The last gasp of Aurora Wavy, wispy, ethereal light reaches from the North as if to blanket the observer. Vertical striations of red and pink light seem to dance and flicker in the sky, hinting at the vast energies deflected by the magnetosphere.

Did a little amateur astronomy this morning while letting the dogs out. Venus, The Moon, and Regulus conjunction, Orion, and the Big Dipper
Crescent Moon with Venus and the star Regulus The constellation Orion with Sirius the dog star below and left The Big Dipper rising before dawn over few houses.

I haven't drawn anything in a little over a year. Tried a self-portrait with some water color pencils I got in an art kit for Christmas last year or a birthday. Obviously, I need to practice, but it turned out not half bad.
