Can confirm. Cursor would be my bet. Replit is terrible. I get super annoyed by people making wild claims about Replit <<- its truly awful.

I just want to take this opportunity to big up Dropbox too. I recently came back into it through a contract I was working on and I have been blown away with how good it is. I use Pipedream to interact with it programmatically, which is super helpful for creating automations and stuff.

Say full time - do enough tutorials, watch lots of YouTube and join communities forums... probably about 5 months, you'll will have learnt enough start building your SaaS app.

Basically, you can build an app without learning coding using AI - Cursor is defos the way to do it - but you need to learn about GitHub, Linting, Logging, Unit Testing, Kubernetes, Message Brokering....

Writing a PRD is the most important thing - that takes time, it needs to breath in your mind. Unfortunately a PRD is going to be way to large for the Replit AI agent to comprehend. Also I'm not sure it allows you to attach photos either. I'm not a fan of Replit - I bought into the hype and its shit.

I don't really know what your use-case is, but Pipedream is a pretty cool as a backend platform. They also have their 'Connect SDK' which helpful for building intergrations into other platforms - between that a like Wix studio, you could probably build something faster than AI Agent coders alone.

Replit is okay for very small stuff - and they have inbuilt hosting - but you're unlikely to build a working SaaS application of the first bat. Also the agent only works build in Flask servers, so if you have a specific stack in mind, probably won't work.

To be fair though - personal brand promotion, student may get a job out of it.
